Long or short, but summer has come and it's time for vacations. Actually, I was no exception, bought plane tickets and went on vacation. In this article, I will not write about how good it is at sea, those who need it already know this, in my case, my trip was through the southern part of the Central Federal District, namely the Kursk and Belgorod regions.
From Murmansk I went "light" taking a smartphone zalo database with me (2sim - Competitor and MCN). Upon arrival in Moscow I had no problems with communication, the coverage was stable on both SIM cards. However, to be fair, it should be noted that I had Internet on the first SIM and it was used as the main one.
It was decided to go to Kursk by Lastochka, as this type of travel was optimally fast. Both SIM cards maintained 2G connection the entire time, periodically switching to 4G mode. Upon arrival in Kursk, I went by car through the cities and villages of the Kursk region. Along the way, I periodically began to experience "gaps" (no network) with the first SIM card, the signal of the second, as a rule, was more stable and it was decided to change the main SIM card from a competitor to MCN. To use the Internet, I purchased a 20 GB package for 599 rubles (not the lowest price on the market, but I needed access to the network and MCN could give it to me). What is worth noting from the advantages of the 599 rubles I spent is stable Internet, but the speed is average.
In one of the settlements of the Kursk region, on the border with Belgorod region, there was no connection at all, and here MCN Telecom helps me out for the first time. Since its network stubbornly shows 1 division, which allowed me to use the smartphone for its intended purpose, not as fast as I wanted of course, but the main thing is that there was Internet.
A little later I found out that the reason for this “miracle” was the recently discovered BS.
