Mynd creates area focused on influencer IPOs

With the explosion of social media, a new profession has emerged in recent years: that of digital influencer.

Anonymous people and celebrities began to gain huge numbers of followers on their social media profiles and, as a result, became great showcases for brands. It is no wonder that investment in advertising with digital influencers has skyrocketed.

But the revenue possibilities go far beyond advertising.

Mynd, an influencer agency with over 400 influencers belize phone number data in its portfolio, has hired José Cirilo, an executive who has worked for big names such as P&G, J&J and Seara, to develop the influencer IPO area. The proposal is to develop products for the influencer portfolio, such as brand creation and new business lines, metaverse solutions, NFTs, audiovisual productions, and others.

Today, most of influencers’ revenue comes from advertising, but it is a limited revenue. “With this movement, our goal is to scale the reach of our casting through strategy and based on a lot of governance,” says Fátima Pissarra, partner at Mynd.

Outside of Brazil, this movement is already happening, and the potential of influencers and celebrities goes beyond their own image, such as the brand 'Fenty Beauty', by Rihanna, 'JLo Beauty', by Jennifer Lopez, 'Rare Beauty', by Selena Gomez and digital native brands (DNVBs) such as 'Kylie Skin', by Kylie Jenner, 'Florence by Mill's, by Mille Bobby Brown and 'Gin Aviation', by Ryan Reynolds.

“The beauty market alone is worth over US$28 billion, not counting food and other segments. To become a billion-dollar company, we need to look at our talents as brands and, above all, prepare them for the attention of Venture Capital funds, which are increasingly aware of this movement,” explains José Cirilo.

In addition to this new feature, the agency also created the Physical and Digital Products area, whose objective is to create products for influencers, which will be led by Gil Bastos and Juan Pablo Dubini.

Other new features include the streaming area, which will be under the command of Felippe Guerra, who aims to develop projects for digital platforms; the Metaverse and NFTs area, directed by Malu Barbosa, who intends to explore business possibilities for agencies in the innovation environment; and the Infoproducts area, which will be responsible for the digital product strategy.
