Want to find '(not provided)' keywords?

Google Chrome Market Share (Netherlands)
Especially now that Google Chrome has been sending all visitors over the secure connection by default since January 2013. And that already happened with Firefox since July 2012. Both browsers have a combined market share in the Netherlands of almost 50%. According to Statcounter, Google Chrome has even been the most used web browser in the Netherlands since last month.

Including logged-in users in other browsers, it is not difficult to imagine that the share of (not provided) will easily exceed 50% in 2013.

Now you are probably wondering: can I still find out the keywords behind '(not provided)'? If you answer this question very literally: no. The keyword is simply not passed on anymore, so you cannot know.

However, you can make a good guess as to what keywords were likely used. You can use the following tactics to do this:

Google Webmaster Tools
Advanced web analysis (e.g. in Google Analytics)
Monitor rankings
