Discover new marketing opportunities with analytics

One of the five points that I absolutely liked and would like to share with you was about 'being extremely transparent'. I strongly believe in 100% transparency. Not only towards your customers, but also with the people you work with! Transparency plays a major role, especially in the search engine and online marketing industry. Especially if you want to retain customers in the long term, it is very important that you act transparently.

When we talk about the online research phase, most marketers think of the Adwords keyword tool or Google Analytics data. Most search engine and online marketers often do not go beyond analyzing the popularity, rankings and competition of terms.

bill huntBill Hunt, author of the best-seller 'Search Engine Marketing, Inc', took a closer look in his presentation at a number of examples of how to collect and use research data from both search engines and social media.

What many companies and marketers fail to do is effectively use social media to discover more opportunities. For example, start by listening to your target audience on Twitter by identifying tweets based on a number of keywords. What words do they use, with what intention are certain terms used, what does your target audience talk about and panama phone data who are the influencers of your target audience?

In other words, understand the intent and context of your target audience and use this as part of your analysis. This will help you find keywords and topics that your target audience, in their own words, is looking for and where the competition is most likely lower. I recommend anyone who has ever thought about this before to read the book ' Social Media Expert in a week ' (chapter 1: Listening and Monitoring) by Jeroen Bertrams.

Test, test, test: even Obama can talk about that
You're almost always wrong when it comes to page conversion optimization! No one in the audience had guessed it beforehand. The landing page for Obama, which came out on top in the 2008 election, was guessed correctly by almost no one in the audience.
