Members of the DUMP Association of Young Developers organized a free two-day conference for students .
Visitors had the opportunity to listen to 14 different lectures, from development to design and marketing. By far the greatest interest was in the lecture on artificial intelligence given by Professor Saša Mladenović , and the best rated lecture was Daniel Ackermann, where he gave useful advice for launching his startup.
Students were very interested in how to write a good CV and pass a technical loan database interview, so they applied in large numbers to the Neogov workshop.
As many as 28 IT companies presented their projects and summer internship programs to students at their stands. In addition, all Fly Talks spots were filled within the first ten hours after the announcement. In these 1-on-1, 8-minute job interviews, students apply to one of nine groups of companies and present themselves to each one in their search for their first job. After the DUMP Days conference, companies saw a significant increase in the number of applications for summer internship programs.
The conference was organized by DUMP members with the support of the Split FESB. Now they have a short break and exam periods ahead of them, followed by preparations for the traditional, free lecture series.
