Motivation: Why is this project important to you right now?

Post by bdjakaria76 »

Need/Scope: "Can you tell me more about what you're looking to achieve with this project?" "What are the biggest problems you're hoping this project will solve?"
Past Experiences: "Have you undertaken a project like this before? What was your experience?" "Have you worked with other contractors? What did you like or dislike?"
Property Details: "Can you tell me a bit about the property? Age, style, any known issues?" (Critical for remodelers, plumbers, electricians, roofers).
Desired Outcome/Vision: "What does a successful project look like to you?"
Understand and Articulate Your Unique Value Proposition (UVP):
Why should a client choose you over a competitor? Is it whatsapp number list your craftsmanship, specific expertise, communication, warranties, process, design capabilities, or speed? Be ready to subtly weave your UVP into the conversation when appropriate, especially if the client asks or if it directly addresses a need they've expressed.

Set Up Your Calling Environment:

Quiet Space: Minimize background noise (no construction sounds, barking dogs, or office chatter).
Good Reception/Connection: Ensure your phone line or VoIP service is clear.
Tools at Hand: Have your script/question flow, a notepad and pen (or digital note-taking app), calendar, and access to your CRM if you use one.
Comfort: A comfortable setup allows you to focus on the call.
