Nuno Ascensão, Regional Owner of KW Portugal, told us about the collaboration signed with CASAFARI since March this year, gave us a forecast of the real estate market for 2022 and also left a piece of advice for new consultants:

What made you decide to make your services available to all professionals in Portugal?
Our decision was made because we wanted to provide our consultants with the best tools in the real estate market in this field. We know that credible and detailed information on each property and its comparables allows our consultants to carry out comparative market analyses, thus adding value to their clients.
A real estate consultant is a specialist in his market, and to do so he needs the necessary technological tools that allow him to access the information that supports his recommendations. To do so, he not only needs the best training in the real estate market, but also the best information.
After almost six months of using our services nationwide, what are the opinions of consultants?
The feedback is very positive. We have a user rate of over 80%, which confirms the importance of our investment in this tool.

How would you describe the real estate market after the pandemic?
The pace of recovery in the various real estate segments is evolving at different speeds. We continue to see a real estate market that remains strong because there are still buyers and they are active.
As for foreign buyers, we have suffered 12 months of retraction, due to the limitations of the pandemic, but we believe that Portugal remains a country of great interest and, therefore, with the progressive opening we will have an influx of foreign buyers again.
What do you expect to happen in 2022 in the real estate market, both nationally and internationally?
Although we cannot have a real idea of the economic impact that this pandemic will cause, we know that markets are cyclical and real estate is no exception.
Since 2013, the real estate market has been on the rise and therefore there will be a downward trend in some areas. However, we can point out that the pipeline will be strong on the supply side, due to the positive evolution of the investment capacity of domestic clients.
Despite the impact caused by the pandemic, we expect interest in the real estate market to remain high due to low interest rates and high financial liquidity worldwide.
What advice would you give to new professionals entering the real estate market?
My recommendation is to seek the best training in the real estate market, because only in this way will it be possible to build a business and a career with the necessary foundations to be sustainable, solid and capable of facing all the challenges of the real estate market.
