The world of digital entrepreneurship is full of information on how to increase sales. Many gurus and experts offer formulas (sometimes magical) and resources to achieve the much-desired conversions, and yet it is surprising how many businesses and startups continue to fail when it comes to having a truly profitable business and creating products that customers love.

What are we forgetting that we continue to fail at when selling?

Have you ever bought a product, even if the price wasn't the lowest, just because of the service? Creating customer value is all the benefits, tangible and intangible, that your customer gets from your brand, which makes your product irresistible and makes them decide to buy from you and not from someone else.

Because it's not always about price. We often think that all we need to do is create a product or service and hope that it sells itself. But the reality is that today's consumers no longer just buy products, they pay for the experience and the value they get from it. That's why, more than a good product at a good price, to increase sales we must create value.

Creating value for the customer is not the result of a single action. Marketing trends in these times of immediacy and where the customer has a voice, are leaning more towards a purchasing experience that focuses on them.

But creating value is not the result of a single action. There are advanced studies on customer behavior and how it creates the perception of value , but there are also simple but highly effective actions that you can implement now and that will help you increase sales.

Let's start with these 5.

1.- Take care of the user experience.
From the moment the customer discovers you and your product until they click on the buy button, there is a path that we call the customer journey. What do you think will happen if this journey is full of bumps and setbacks? Yes, they will probably drop out before making the conversion.

That is why it is so important that our customers have a pleasant and fast shopping experience that they can complete with the least resistance.

To do this, we need to know and understand our clients and their pain points . If we know their tastes and needs, we can offer the treatment and solutions they are looking for and, without a doubt, their perception of value about our business will increase.

2.- Provide value: give before receiving
We often feel that creating and sharing gambling database valuable content does not give us benefits because many of those who consume it do not buy. And it is true that conversions do not always come, but sharing valuable content for our audience will always be a win-win because:

We cannot talk about creating value for the customer without taking into account the quality of your products and services . And not only when we talk about high-ticket products, but also those lower-cost products and even the free resources that come out under your brand must be quality products.

And it is true that cost may be a concern, since quality products require a greater investment of resources, but lowering the standard to have lower prices is not acceptable if you want to create value for the customer.

I'm sure that more than once, scrolling through social media, you've seen a product that interests you, is attractive, and that you need. Then you take the next step and comment or send a direct message requesting information and the response never comes.

Would you insist on buying it? I highly doubt that, with the number of businesses and brands offering their products, with an algorithm designed to show you the thousands of alternatives available, you would be willing to insist.

Communication with your customer, both during the sale and after-sales, is undoubtedly one of the most determining factors in the purchasing decision. Personalized, friendly and open communication is much more effective in increasing sales than any marketing strategy.
