What we discovered about Google Web Stories by analyzing 2,400 URLs

Post by ahbappy250 »

We analyzed 2,423 SERPs between March and April 2021. Our search area focus was the United States, and we only looked at mobile devices.

The data highlights and delves into 9 essential areas:

The number of stories that appear on a SERP.
Position of Web denmark number for whatsapp Stories on SERPs.
Top domains that appear in Web Stories.
Web Stories Text Analysis.
The number of pages in a Web Story.
Sharing videos and images.
Keyword analysis.
Call to action from the last page of the stories.
Image analysis.
Let's look at each area in detail.

1. The number of stories appearing on a SERP
The average number of stories that appeared on a SERP was 3; there was always at least 1 story in the SERP and never more than 4, while the average result for stories in the SERP was also 4 instances.

2. Position of Web Stories on SERPs
Our observations have shown that in most cases, the Visual Stories search feature appears quite high in position or placement within a search result, on average around position 5-6 (we considered surrounding SERP features as having their own positions). Such a prominent position makes this feature interesting.
Other SERP features that most commonly appear alongside Web Stories are: People Also Asked, Interesting Results, Video Carousel, Knowledge Panel, and Top Stories.

Visual stories can trigger other SERP events, such as “people also asked.” The following chart shows which events are triggered and where.
