The “Your Future is Today” program ends after 16 months working with unemployed young people in Aragon

In May 2022, the Adecco Foundation, in collaboration with the INAEM (Aragonese Employment Institute), launched INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS FOR UNEMPLOYED YOUNG PEOPLE “Your Future is Today” , an initiative aimed exclusively at young people under 30 years of age at risk of social exclusion.

For 16 months, we have worked with the beneficiaries, based on their situation, needs and expectations. The starting point has always been training in self-knowledge, with the aim of achieving personal growth. From there, building a professional profile by developing job-seeking skills, as well as the 'soft skills', so necessary to compete in the current labour market.

«We can proudly say that this programme has helped young people find motivation to decide where to direct their professional career. We have provided them with resources and tools to identify their strengths, to know what israel phone number data they are good at, what they are good at. Once these variables were detected, we have put them into practice, we have drawn up a roadmap and we have worked together on a transversal and personalised professional itinerary», say Pilar Repullés and Alejandra Morón, consultants at the Adecco Foundation in Aragon .

The project leaders also insist that the resources provided within the framework of this programme are long-term. “They constitute a valuable support to help young people at risk of exclusion not only to find employment, but to keep it. At the same time, it contributes to developing professional skills and competencies that allow them to grow and advance in their career. It is especially beneficial to eliminate the barriers that prevent them from accessing the labour market, such as a lack of qualifications or professional experience, a lack of resources and/or role models.”
