A great example of how to use micro-influencers during the holidays is the Hallmark case . To promote their new jewelry collection, Hallmark teamed up with a number of smaller, family-friendly Instagram influencers.

The goal was to share personal, authentic moments of the family. Using the hashtag #KeepsakeIt, they shared posts with their followers about memories of past holidays, raising their children, or other moments of joy. The posts also included hashtags and links to Hallmark’s website where followers could purchase their own keepsake.

Tip 5: Use your employees as influencers
Your company’s employees are your best ambassadors. They are a reflection of your work environment and a personification of your brand. So who better to promote your brand or company than the employees themselves?

Some companies are experimenting with using employees as influencers. Even during the holidays, you can come up with creative ideas to use your own employees. Research shows that you are more likely to believe and trust people you know than you are to believe a brand’s advertising. This makes the influence of ‘ordinary’ people enormous. Using your employees as influencers can therefore be a step in the right direction to create more trust for your brand.
