Metrics for assessing subscriber dynamics

The simplest and most understandable metrics for everyone are the dynamics of subscribers.
1. Number of subscribers and unsubscribers
Often in the regions these parameters are inflated, which is also easy to track by looking at who exactly is in your subscribers: dogs, bots and non-existent people always stand out against the background of real participants. In addition, there are programs for tracking bots. In VKontakte, it is easiest to measure using the free application "deserter" , in which, by the way, you can also track competitors. In Instagram, the process is more complicated, because in April 2018 the whatsapp database service closed access to its data for third-party companies.
2. Community audience growth rate
Measured by a simple formula:
number of new subscribers / number of subscribers in total * 100%
By replacing the total number of subscribers in the formula denominator with the net increase (the number of new subscribers minus the number of those who left the community), we get a percentage value of how many of the newcomers remain in our community. This will indicate how interesting the community is and how it holds the attention of subscribers.
3. Number of views (Views)
The standard indicator reports the number of views for all community posts in a certain period. Please note that the number of views is not equal to the number of people who viewed the post, for example, if one person views the post 10 times, then the social network statistics will give you 10 views (Views).
4. Reach
In the reports, you should understand that these are unique users, that is, people who have seen your post at least once. This is the main difference from the previous indicator. The following types of coverage are distinguished:
organic - users who saw your post in the community;
viral - users who saw a repost of a community post;
advertising - users who saw the advertising post.
Full coverage is equal to the sum of all previous coverages. It can be tracked in special programs, for example, the simple service livedune, the cost of which starts from 195 rubles and has a three-day trial period.
