Leonard's current state
It is no secret that we have been experiencing a major upheaval for several weeks now. An upheaval that has never been experienced before, but above all, one from which no one is spared. Whether economic, social, professional or personal, all the players in our society are confronted with the unpredictability of past and future events that destabilize us every day.
That said, at Leonard, we are trying to see this situation as an opportunity to highlight our ability to adapt to our environment and seize the opportunities that may be hidden there. Like Leonardo da Vinci, who himself was a symbol of the scientific and artistic upheavals of his time, we want to use our collective know-how to make a difference to support companies struggling with the urgency of going digital and promoting their products and services online.
The importance of demystifying the opportunities that can arise
Nowadays, it is crucial for any company to make its presence felt on the algeria telemarketing data web and try to get the most out of this drastic rise in consumption and communication through the web. For some, it is a completely new world, while for others, it is a world that is too often postponed. In any case, it can be complex to immerse yourself in such a universe, and that is why we believe it is important to popularize well what a digital shift and having a well-established digital marketing strategy entails.
To do this, our President and digital strategic advisor, Karl Demers, was received on the radio by the team of the show Le 10-14 of radio Énergie 98.9 in order to take stock of the phenomenon. As a web marketing agency, we are here to support you and we can make a significant difference in the repercussions that this difficult economic period will have on your business. Here are the main questions that were raised and the answers that we hope will enlighten you.
You can listen to the full interview above. You will also find a summary of the main questions raised during the interview:
[Host] When you compare it to several American states, Quebec is definitely behind in terms of digital marketing and the ability to buy online. How can you explain this and why do we have so much difficulty staying up to date?
[Karl] People in general or entrepreneurs have put themselves in a situation where they have been led to do business simply and have entered into a kind of complacency mode. Obviously, in the current situation, these companies must reinvent themselves and are currently facing a wall. Although they are behind, in recent years, several government aids have emerged and tools have been developed to facilitate and democratize access to different platforms in order to help them follow suit.
[Host] When someone calls you at Leonard and they don't have a website or it's not transactional, how do you handle their request? How do you react to such mandates? Do you have to have a specific strategy? Does it require a lot of work? What is the process?
[Karl] There are two processes: the normal process and the process during the current crisis. For the normal process, we can talk about 5 to 6 months to develop a site . We will take the time to think about the needs of the client company's potential customers, what they are looking for precisely and how we will go about meeting their needs. On the other hand, today companies that want to be on the web do it first and foremost for their survival. They do not have the possibility of waiting that long. We must therefore use existing solutions that accelerate the "go to market", that is to say, being online as quickly as possible to generate revenue. In cases like these, we will use tools like Shopify or Webself, where you can set up a site yourself and which can be transactional.
[Host] For a web agency like Leonard, the current situation must probably also be destabilizing considering that the majority of people want to be on the web at all costs and that there is no universal way of doing things for everyone. Are you destabilized in your ways of doing things?
[Karl] Absolutely, we are really in "helping companies in a bad situation" mode, so the good ways of doing things according to the norms and our usual quality standards must be put aside a little in order to make it possible to set up a site quickly and urgently.
[Host] What are the approximate costs of a shift to a transactional site for an SME? If many have not taken the initiative in the past, it is probably because the costs that will be invested will be difficult to make profitable and therefore the return on investment too low to justify the steps taken and the costs incurred?
