These tweets become "lifelines" when they are transformed into NFTs

Post by samiaseo75 »

In August 2019, 163 people were stranded on a tugboat belonging to the NGO off the Italian coast of Lampedusa for 20 days. Open Arms reported on what was happening on Twitter and helped influence public opinion, even receiving support from famous people such as Richard Gere. This is what led the organisation to launch the campaign
Last September, Twitter began experimenting with the “Safe Mode” feature on its platform with the ultimate goal of clipping the wings of cyberbullying. By activating “Safe Mode,” Twitter namibia phone number data automatically analyzes interactions and its algorithm blocks accounts that engage in abusive practices against the user (saving hours and hours of checking messages and blocking profiles). The social network expanded the “Safe Mode” test last February and continues to compile feedback from its users regarding this feature.

Created by MRM and supported by Twitter, it rescues those tweets that served as support to turn them into NFTs and give them a second life. The aim is to raise funds to continue carrying out humanitarian aid missions to save people in vulnerable and emergency situations.

Anyone can buy these NFTs through the Open Sea platform. Specifically, there will be 20 tweets available. Each one will have a starting price, based on the number of likes it received that day. The first five that receive a bid in line with that figure will be accepted immediately. The other fifteen will be available until April 20, when the highest bids received will be accepted.
