Digital Marketing as a Goal

My first contact with Digital Marketing came with the growth of social media and the need to appear on the internet. I had already been developing several design projects and the demand arose naturally. That's when I sought out Harve to “learn”, and what seemed like a world away was already closer in the first few days of class.



How was the path to get here?


My background was in information technology, but I always identified with visual saudi arabia number data development. It was common to think about the look of programs and how they should be intuitive and pleasant, while my colleagues thought about codes and databases, I thought about colors and fonts.



My first job was an internship working on websites, which made me feel very comfortable. However, after the internship, I went to work in computer infrastructure, which was stressful, but paid better.



My goal was always to work in IT for a short time, and then move to visual development as soon as possible. When an opportunity arose, I never got over IT, so I became comfortable and spent about twenty years there.



I never stopped working with design, but always independently and with some jobs that came up by chance. But with the emergence of the digital age, and the accumulated stress, I made the decision to change careers.



Digital marketing emerged as a fundamental tool for the market, and this brought a very large demand, a market lacking in many ways, and I saw the need to update myself.



Why Harve?

Harve met my interest in learning. When searching for a course on the internet, I found Harve and Aldeia, but I chose Harve because it seemed like a more complete course and because it had better recommendations.



I got it right, I met incredible mentors with great knowledge, experience and especially the teaching skills to guide those who were starting their journey in this new world. I met people with the same goal as me, with the same sparkle in their eyes, which helped a lot throughout the course.



And now?






Even after the course, it was difficult to leave the infrastructure area. I spent two years looking for jobs in the digital marketing area. Every now and then, some demand would arise, but nothing that would make me change areas.



When I left the company I was working for, I surprisingly felt relieved. I took a vacation like I had never done before, and after a few months I started looking for a job in marketing, and as I expected, it wasn't easy.



Competing for positions with young people who had a degree in marketing and more experience was something that scared me a little. But when I applied for the job openings, I realized the market's need for digital marketing professionals. And how much Harve's course helped, both in terms of the experience gained and the importance of the course.



I currently work as a marketing analyst at a company that operates throughout the country. I develop all the social media, promotional material and everything that carries the company's brand, which in turn is expanding rapidly, which makes me very satisfied.



Today I see the importance of defining a persona, of thinking about pieces aimed at a specific audience, planning campaigns with an objective and knowing how to promote a brand, its work and especially its results, because that is what a marketing professional lives for: results.

The need to be visible where people are is growing. Social networks are becoming increasingly important and are becoming more and more prevalent in people's lives. And this is a great thing for digital marketing professionals.



One characteristic that digital marketing has in common with the IT sector is the need to always be up to date with the latest developments on the market and to always be aware of changing needs. It is a very promising area that is only set to grow.
