The term freemium, a portmanteau of free and premium, indicates a marketing strategy aimed at building long-term loyalty in a niche audience interested in exclusive content.

For example, the daily newsletter of The New York Times is free and contains several links for further information: to read the full articles of some news, you need to subscribe to the platform.

These are paid newsletters: people sign up for a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual subscription to read the content. They work like a subscription to a trade magazine (for example, Focus) with one difference: the content is digital.

Here are two examples of paid newsletters :

The Color Green , by Nicolas Lozito, focused on the estonia phone number list climate crisis and sustainability,
Domitilla , Domitilla Ferrari's newsletter in which she also talks about marketing.
Content newsletters are usually detailed and carefully argued long-form content , packed with interesting information and dense, meaningful text.

Contents to be stored in an archive just as if they were thick glossy magazines.

What is the last paper magazine you chose to subscribe to? You know, I am passionate about cooking. After following several free contents on the Cucina Naturale website, I subscribed to the paper publication for a year. I chose to pay to have exclusive, quality content , enjoyable to read and also beautiful to display on a kitchen shelf.
