Install a free SEO plugin

This should at least give you confidence that you are choosing a theme that won't slow you down.

We recommend the SEO Mag WordPress theme , it is the only one that brings together all the best SEO practices. It was developed by Nicolas Mercatili , who you can find on many SEMrush webinars .

Before you start optimizing your site, you need to install an SEO plugin. Luckily, there are a few main options that are commonly recommended, both of which can be installed for free:

Yoast SEO
All in One SEO Pack
For the purposes of this guide, we'll be using Yoast, but take a look at qatar telegram data ur guide to the best WordPress SEO plugins for a look at the various free and paid options.

Note that a plugin will not optimize your site for you; it just makes it easier for you to do so and follow best practices.

One way to install a plugin on WordPress is to log in to the dashboard and navigate to the “add new plugin” page in the left menu: Plugins > Add New Plugin.

Once there, find the extension you want to install and click “Install Now”.
