Meta, Twitter, Google and Tiktok will now have to adopt overseas chinese in worldwide data strict , illegal content and user protection . Advertising is also regulated in the use of user data and its targeting. To meet this new regulation, digital platforms may have to review their algorithms , the layout and design of their sites, but also their services . The largest platforms, those with more than 45 million, will be required to report to the European Union on their use of artificial intelligence to combat illegal content and disinformation.


The platforms will have until next summer to adapt to this new legislation , under penalty of being fined 6 % of their turnover, or having to suspend their activities within the European Union. Amazon is preparing to lay off thousands of employees – The departments affected are the Made In Amazon devices like Alexa, retail and human resources. This wave of layoffs, which is expected to affect a total of around 10,000 people , would be the largest job cuts in the company’s history . While the company had announced gradual layoffs by sector, messages from people affected by these cuts have flourished on LinkedIn in recent days.
