What piqued my interest in this article was Google's response. Google said:

Merchants who manage their business listing information through Google My Business (which is free to use) are notified by email when an edit is suggested. Spammers and other users with negative intent are a problem for businesses and technology companies that provide local business information. We use automated systems to detect spam and fraud, but we don't share the details behind our process so as not to alert spammers or others with bad intent.
One can read it and feel safe, believing that there is ecuador number data nothing to worry about. However, some of us who have been in this space for a long time know that there are several false and misleading statements in this paragraph. I am going to point them out below.

Google only ای میل کے ذریعے صارفین کو مطلع کرنا شروع کر دیا۔last month . Their statement makes it sound like this has been going on for centuries. Before September 2017, people weren't getting any emails about edits to their listings.
Not everyone gets an email about edits. To test this, I had several people submit an update to one of my lists to change a phone number. When the edit went live, the Google account that was the primary ownerفہرست میںreceived an email; the Google account that was a manager on the list did not.
Similarly, I am the manager of over 50 listings and 7 of them are currently showing as updates in the Google My Business dashboard. I have not received a single email since they launched this feature a month ago.
