A single indicator, even a synthetic one like the EVSI,

Post by badsha0018 »

Nott enough to describe a complex sociodemographic reality, in health as in other areas. Official statistics offer a whole range of indicators to describe the health status of the population and, more broadly, the "quality of life" in all its dimensions. Health is only one determinant among others of life satisfaction and well-being, certainly important but of the same order as, for example, the nature of social ties or material living conditions (INSEE, 2024); all these determinants of well-being are also interlinked and interact in complex ways: health status can affect social ties, material conditions can affect health status, and so on. Furthermore, to more precisely assess gambling data indonesiathe progress made and define public action objectives towards which efforts can still be made, it is necessary to have more targeted indicators.

The fact remains that the EVSI is of interest, thanks to its simplicity and the mobilization of the public statistical service for its implementation, in that it is measured every year and allows monitoring over time, now with a 20-year time perspective (Figure 4) . It is also an internationally harmonized indicator, which allows for comparisons of developments between countries, even if these comparisons must be made with caution (Figure 5) . Indeed, another limitation of the EVSI lies in the sensitivity of the responses of the people surveyed on activity limitations to the wording of the questions, as shown by an experiment carried out by the Drees in 2014 (Cambois et alii , 2015).
