We compare data from different periods

The "Comparison of segments" option significantly expands the analytical potential of the report. It allows you to compare data by sources in different periods. To obtain a more visual picture, relatively long chronological intervals are compared: a quarter, a year, or more (a specific period can be set manually).
Let's see how it works. Example: we want to know how the picture by traffic sources has changed over the year. To do this:
Go to the report: Reports → Sources → gambling database Sources, summary.
We request data for the year.
Click “Compare segments” → in the drop-down window, select “With the previous period” (i.e. with the previous year that we selected before).
We set the detailing: by weeks. This will make the schedule less dense and it will be more convenient for visual perception.
At the bottom, we select which traffic channels to display on the graph. For example, we disable everything except "Search Engine Transitions".
