For Individual Users & Small Businesses (Limited, Often Third-Party)

For standard WhatsApp users or those using the free WhatsApp Business App, direct scheduling is limited. You'll often rely on:
WhatsApp Business App's "Away Messages" and "Greeting Messages":
"Away Messages" can be scheduled to send automatically when you're unavailable (outside business hours or during a custom period). This is a form of scheduling, but it's only for automated replies, not for proactive messages you compose yourself.
"Greeting Messages" are sent automatically to new customers or after 14 days of inactivity, acting as an initial scheduled welcome.
How to set up Away Messages:
Open WhatsApp Business App.
Go to Settings (or More options on Android) > Business Tools.
Select Away message.
Turn on Send away message.
Edit the message content.
Under Schedule, choose Custom schedule or whatsapp number list Outside of business hours and set your preferred times.
Under Recipients, select who should receive the message.
Tap Save.
Third-Party Android Apps (e.g., SKEDit):
Apps like SKEDit allow you to schedule WhatsApp messages on Android devices. They often require extensive accessibility permissions to function, as they essentially automate the act of typing and sending the message at the scheduled time.
How they generally work:
Download and install the app (e.g., SKEDit) from Google Play Store.
Grant necessary accessibility permissions.
Open the app and select WhatsApp/WhatsApp Business.
Choose the recipient(s) (individual or group).
