Just as broad as the definition of an event is, so is the range of criteria to measure its effectiveness. In this article we bring you examples of 5 successful corporate events in Spain , each in its own segment. In this way we will try to reflect the great variety of typologies, objectives, audiences, channels and formats that the world of events offers.
The unstoppable momentum (Cupra)
Without a doubt, one of the main highlights of 2022 among corporate events in the motor sector was the experience offered by Cupra under the concept of “The Unstoppable Momentum” to present its revolutionary vision of the future and its models up to 2025. For this, the line phone number data brand chose the emblematic Terramar circuit (Sitges) , where it had been launched in 2018. Its more than 20,000 m2 were completely transformed in the 3 months prior to the event and with only 36 days for the construction work . The added difficulty was that the circuit was completely abandoned and had no infrastructure of any kind.
And the result was truly spectacular. Among the three immersive areas on offer to the public, “Prisma” stood out, a rectangular structure covered in more than 1,200 m2 of mirrors . Inside, more than 4,200 visitors (including 450 media representatives and content creators from 44 countries) were immersed in Cupra’s DNA and its futuristic vision through projections and a test drive experience with 600 synchronised VR glasses .
A tractor for Tom (Jameson)
An example of real-time marketing , a digital action that has been transformed into a successful in-person event. It all started as a joke on Twitter . Jameson’s social media team promised to give a tractor to Tom Rohde , an Andalusian farmer, or “countryside influencer” as he refers to himself, very active on this network, if the tweet got more than 10,000 likes . And it goes without saying that 10,000 were very short, because on Twitter nothing is impossible . Of course, such repercussions cried out for something more than a conventional and boring delivery of keys at the Jameson offices…
That's why the brand decided to take advantage of the occasion and offer the inhabitants of La Carlota, the farmer's hometown, and all Twitter followers who were willing to join in the celebration, a very special event. A very village party, but also very Jameson . With stalls from local businesses, a branded bar, a stage with music, and even a wedding chapel. And, of course, with Tom and his tractor as the stars.
