Gut expands into Asia with the opening of its office in Singapore
Gut today announced the launch of Gut Singapore, the global creative network’s first Asia office, and its tenth in total. The new office will be led by Jessica Davey, who joins Gut as MD of Asia, having been SVP and Head of Clients at Media.Monks APAC for two years. Joining her will be Carlos Camacho as CCO, previously at David, and Belynda Sim-Mak as Head of Strategy, formerly Head of Cultural Strategy at Le Pub APAC; all of whom will report to Gut’s Global CEO, Andrea Diquez.
Other new hires in Singapore include Liz Leow, group account director, who joins the agency from ADK, and Meyvi Wedelia, creative director, who joins from Toaster.
The announcement of this latest network expansion follows the launch of Gut New York last month, the creation of the Globant Gut network, unveiled in Cannes in June, and the opening of Gut Madrid in early 2024. It is the third office opening this year, spanning North America, Europe and now Asia. The network, which is six years old, has experienced explosive global growth, attracting top-tier clients and achieving record results.
“It’s incredible to be able to open our first office in Asia, and tenth in total, after just six years. This move makes Gut a truly global agency network that can serve clients anywhere in the world,” said Andrea Diquez, Global CEO. “Having worked in the region, I know first-hand the incredible opportunity this market represents. I’m thrilled to welcome Jess, Carlos and Belynda, three experts in this dynamic and diverse region, who will help accelerate our incredible growth.”
