The Committee for Justice (CFJ) is an independent association, dedicated to helping defend and fight for the human rights of vulnerable people in the Middle East and North Africa region. As an independent association that helps fight against human rights violations, it is imperative that communications remain confidential and private. For this reason, the CFJ chooses to use Tuta Mail as its secure email solution.

We spoke with the CFJ's Head of Information about the association, its mission, its objectives and how Tuta Mail helps them carry out their work with the highest degree of security.

About the Committee for Justice (CFJ)
Created by human rights defenders in 2015, the CFJ is an independent association based in Geneva, Switzerland, with additional offices in France. The CFJ works closely with the United Nations and was granted consultative status by the United Nations Economic and Social Council in 2023.

CFJ is dedicated to creating systems to protect oil and gas email list and defend people who have been victims of human rights violations in the Middle East and North Africa region, offering them a wide range of assistance. CFJ's vision is to create an environment that empowers human rights defenders, and to hold perpetrators accountable.

Need for security
As an association that focuses on helping victims and people vulnerable to human rights violations, extremely sensitive information is shared through electronic correspondence. Due to the responsibility of the organization and the nature of the information handled by CFJ, choosing an email provider with end-to-end encryption and high security protocols is the most important requirement for CFJ.

When looking for an email provider in 2017, the biggest challenge for CFJ was finding an email service that, most importantly, offered end-to-end encryption, was easy to use, and easy to deploy.
